My ultimate goal is to satisfy all AFRMED’s customers by offering a diversified range of products that are both original and above all made of outstanding quality. Afrimed is my child that I like to cuddle and make sure it receives our full attention to keep growing with your shared experiences aiming for a continuous improvement. I am deeply thankful to the entire human resource of the company which I like to call the “AFRIMED family”; for their constant involvement, their ethics, their everyday creativity in keeping the brand image very high. My goal is to provide them with a friendly work environment for them to express their talent and achieve the unachievable. Afrimed with its range of pharmaceuticals products as well as nutritional supplements is currently the leader on the Tunisian market. But after years of local presence, we are also very proud to have become present 12?? other African countries as well as in most middle eastern countries with our Dubai office, thus giving Afrimed a wide multi-national presence. Presentation of AFRIMED

AFRIMED (company name: AFRIQUIA MEDICAMENT S.A.) is a Tunisian veterinary pharmaceutical laboratory whose head office is based in Sousse and whose R&D unit and production unit are based in Sahline, 5km from Sousse. AFRIMED began its activity in 1995 with the manufacture of nutritional supplements. These products manufactured by AFRIMED with a concern for high quality have enabled AFRIMED to acquire an excellent brand image with its customers. In 2001 AFRIMED obtained its approval from the Tunisian Ministry of Public Health for the manufacture of veterinary drugs. It is therefore with this same concern for quality that AFRIMED is embarking on the production of veterinary drugs. The AFRIMED product portfolio is constantly growing and today includes a varied range of more than 50 products and more than 100 references.

Presentation of AFRIMED products:

The AFRIMED product portfolio covers a large part of animal species (poultry, rabbits, sheep, cattle, goats, camelids, horses, pigs, canines, fish). It consists of several forms of products (liquids, powders, and injectables) and concerns several pharmaceutical classes (antibacterials, internal antiparasitics, external antiparasitics, anticoccidials, anti-infectives, etc.) as well as several nutritional classes (vitamins and amino acids, flora digestive, growth factor, for reproduction, appetite stimulant, bloat remedies,…).

R&D and Manufacturing

AFRIMED has a physico-chemical and microbiological Quality Control laboratory which allows the control of raw materials and products manufactured on the site in compliance with GLP - Good Laboratory Practices (GLP - Good Laboratory Practice) since 2001 .

In 1995, creation of the company AFRIMED
From 1995 to 2001: Preparation of the manufacturing unit
In 1997 start of the manufacture of nutritional supplements:
FORCIVITOL, CMV, AFRIDIGEST, DIARSIMED, THEPAX powder and liquid, FORCIAVIAIRE, CHELATES OF Mg of IRON and ZINC, FORCI REPRO, DIALYTE, HOTLYTE, THERMOLYTE, ALGAVIT, SPECIAL PONTE, BIOBRON, VITAMINO, CALGOPHOS, CERQUAL DRY, WOMBYL, MAMMYL cream.
In 2001, approval by the Ministry of Health was given to AFRIMED laboratories for the manufacture of drugs.
First drugs manufactured under marketing authorization between 2003 and 2009 are:
- SOGECOLI, DOXYVAL, PANACUR, QUINOEX and ENROFLOX 10.
